Geneva Ann Bare, 47, of Falling Waters WV passed away on September 2, 2025 surrounded by family and her Service Dog Rex.

She was born on January 30, 1978 to Benny and Dorothy (Sier) Bare in Hagerstown Md .

In addition to her parents Geneva is survived by her Son Warren Horchner , her beloved Service dog Rex, sister and brother in law Eliza and Stephen (Scooter ) Hunt Jr., brother and sister-in-law Benny Jr and Josie Bare. 9 nieces and nephews, Jody Wall (Garrett), Trisha Burdette (Bryan), Douglas Robertson (Callista) Kimberly Robertson (Logan Shepard) , Stephen J Hunt (Spyrit Knott) , Nathan Robertson (Mya Edmonds), Rebecca Medina, Joey and Leland Bare, 11 Great nieces and nephews whom she adored, many Aunts, Uncles , cousins, and friends.

Geneva was proceeded in death by her grandparents Hobart and Ocie Bare ,Eliza and Harry Sier, many aunts uncles and cousin. She was very involved and devoted to her son.

In Geneva's years she lived in Sharpsburg Md and attended Boonsboro high school. She brought so much joy to all who knew her and loved spending time with the ones she loved. She enjoyed baking and decorating especially around the holidays. She would also decorate her home for every holiday as well. She had a love for sea turtles and she was learning to do tattoos. Geneva especially loved fishing ,crafting with her sister, collecting rocks ,stones and gems, and thrift store treasure hunting.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 18, 2025 with visitation from 10 AM-12 PM followed by the funeral service at 12 PM. Officiating is Pastor Craig Bush. A reception will be held immediately following the service at Williamsport volunteer fire EMS, 2 Brandy Drive.

Your presence would be cherished. Prayers for peace and comfort as we mourn the loss of our beautiful Geneva and celebrating her life as we learn to live without her.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to her GoFundMe to assist with funeral costs and the remainder going to her son. That's what she would want.
