Geneva Ethel Addison was born October 25, 1946, in Colquitt, GA, the daughter of William & Ethel Haire Addison. After high school, she earned some college credits and served as a substitute teacher for Decatur County Schools. Geneva married Jackie Dollar in 1960 and chose to homestead in Southwest Georgia. She was an active member of Liberty Baptist Church.

Geneva was a woman with spirit, strength, and sass, and she carried herself with grace and style. Every outfit came complete with a perfectly matched ensemble, because looking her best was simply who she was. She loved her church family deeply and found joy in sharing her faith through gospel music. If you had her in your corner, you knew you had someone who would fight for you and cheer you on.

Her greatest love in life was her husband, Jackie, who was her everything. Not a day passed that she didn't tell him how handsome he was, a sweet reminder of their devotion to one another and golden opportunity to capture a fresh reaction on the daily. Family gatherings brought her the most joy, especially when her children and grandchildren were all together under one roof.

Geneva had a way of making everyone feel seen, whether she was reminding you (usually two months in advance) that her birthday was coming, or keeping up with your business as though it were her own. She celebrated life wholeheartedly, and her presence was as unforgettable as "MawMaw's" banana pudding.

To honor Geneva's life and her status as a true fashionista, the family requests that everyone wear bright colors to her service.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Jackie Dollar; her children, Randy Dollar (Angela), Kim Dollar (Jennifer), Lisa Welch (Billy), Michelle Miles, and Amy Roberts (Jack); her twenty-two grandchildren, thirty-seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; and the beloved residents & staff at Memorial Manor who were her family by choice. In addition to her parents, Geneva was preceded in death by her son, Mitch Dollar; her granddaughter, Nikki Dollar; her grandson, Will Dollar; and her siblings, Inez Mock, Paul Addison, Bronnie Pate, Dale Rich, and Ellen Kelly.
