EDWARDS, Mrs. Geneva - age 83, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2025 in Auburn Hills, Michigan. Family hour 11:30AM Thursday, August 28, 2025 at Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 599 Michigan Avenue, with funeral commencing immediately at 12:00PM. Pastor Jerry Love, Officiating. Pastor Derrick S. McDonald, Eulogist. Interment Perry Mount Park Cemetery, 878 North Perry Street. Friends and pallbearers will assemble 11:30AM at the church Thursday. Mrs. Edwards will lie instate in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 268 North Perry Street, and may be viewed between the hours of 12:00PM - 6:00PM Wednesday. Mrs. Edwards leaves to cherish her memory: her children, Kenneth (Cassandra) Edwards, Rodney (JoAnne) Edwards, Reginald (Stephanie) Edwards, Cedric (Felicia) Edwards, James (Nichole) Edwards and Carlos (Katonya) Edwards; a host of grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; siblings, James Arthur (Dorothy) Flowers, Walter Lee Flowers and Iola Flowers-Holmes; and a host of other relatives and friends. Mrs. Edwards was preceded in death by her husband, James Luther Edwards; son, Michael Edwards; parents, J.B. and Gladys Flowers, Sr.; and siblings, Dr. J. B. Flowers, Jr., Rev. Dr. Christopher Flowers, Mary Massaqoui and Johnny Flowers.
