Geneva Gregory

Geneva Jackson Gregory, 96 entered the Gates of Heaven and was greeted by Jesus on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, KY.
Geneva was born on June 6, 1927, in Dewitt, KY. the daughter of Clell and Edna Epperson Jackson. She married the love of her life, Robert Gregory, on May 23, 1942. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, homemaker, and friend to many. She was an avid animal lover and could grow any plant that you would bring her and definitely had a green thumb.
Geneva is survived by her three sons, Robert "Bob" Gregory (Trish), Ronnie Gregory (Pat) and, Jimmy Gregory (Donna); grandchildren, Teresa, Michael, Kimberly, Kenneth and, Jeremey; great-grandchildren, Teegan, Kayla, Brittany, Waylon, Sutton, Walker, Jaxson, Shaun, Devin, Hunter, Lindsey, Lilly and, Dakota; great-greatgrandchildren, Forrest and Cora. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert Gregory; son, Terry Gregory; daughter, Shirley Sue Spencer; grandsons, Jimmy Gregory, and Robert C. Gregory Jr.; siblings, Virgil Jackson, Arnold Jackson, Burl Jackson, and Jewel Jackson.
The family would also like to extend our deepest appreciation and thanks to Geneva's care givers, Tami Frakes of Charlestown, and Diana Glover of Sellersburg. You Both brought lots of joy, happiness, and love to our family with helping to care for Granny.
Life Celebration Services will be held at the Grayson Funeral Home in Charlestown on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. with burial in Old Salem Cemetery. The visitation will be held on Saturday from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. and after 9:00 A.M. on Sunday. Expressions of sympathy in memory of Geneva may take the form of donations to Alzheimer's Association.
