Geneva P. Jenkins, 73 of Donna, Texas, formerly of Aledo, died September 2, 2025, at Unity Point Health, Trinity, Rock Island. A time of remembrance will be held at a later date. Speer Funeral Home, Aledo is assisting the family. Private family burial will be in Viola Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s's Children's Hospital and the Susan G. Komen Fund.
Geneva Pearl Howard was born on May 8, 1952, in Aledo, Illinois to Aaron & Oral (Muhlenburg) Howard. She was a 1970 graduate of Westmer High School. Geneva and Robert Jenkins were married on July 7, 1981, in Aledo, Illinois.
Geneva was employed with the Hon Company in Muscatine for many years. Geneva and Bob enjoyed riding their Gold Wing. Their travels took them south, where they found their retirement home, Bit-O-Heaven RV Park in Donna, Texas. Geneva loved the friendships at the RV park and enjoyed all the activities with friends. They also enjoyed camping and would come north during the summer to camp at Papa’s Paradise in Wapello, Iowa.
Geneva is survived by her husband, Bob; sons, Chris Stott and fiancé, Amber; Jeff & Tara Jenkins; grandchildren: Brett, Mickayla and Katie Stott, step-grandchild, Braylynn, and several great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her siblings: Greg & Dolores Howard and Gloria Duncan. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Judy Storr.
