George William Adams May 13, 1947 – August 16, 2025

George William "Butch" Adams, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and respected member of the Round Rock community, passed away on August 16, 2025, at the age of 78.

Born on May 13, 1947, to W. F. "Bub" and Alice Adams in Round Rock, Texas, George spent his life rooted in the town he loved. He proudly served in the Army National Guard, carrying with him a deep sense of pride throughout his life.

In 1970, George married his lifelong partner, Lana Adams, on October 18th. Their love and devotion to one another stood as a testament to the strength of their bond, growing stronger with each passing year. Together, they shared a beautiful life, raising three daughters and building lasting memories.

George was a well-known and successful local business owner in the Round Rock community for his entire life. His dedication and work ethic earned him the admiration and respect of many.

Beyond his professional life, he was a man of many passions. He found joy in any kind of work outdoors. He enjoyed hunting, spent countless hours tinkering with classic cars and trucks, and took pride in his knife collection-a true reflection of his attention to detail and craftsmanship.

George was preceded in death by his parents, W.F "Bub"Adams and Alice Adams, who were both deeply devoted to him as their only child. His legacy continues through his family, whom he loved deeply and shaped with loyalty and wisdom.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Lana Adams; his loving daughters, Tiffany Greer and her husband Scott, Allison Adams, and Amber Adams; and his cherished granddaughter, Shelby Samoff, and her husband Evan. He also leaves behind his loyal canine companion, Cooper, who was always by his side and brought him endless comfort and joy.

George will be remembered for his integrity, strong spirit, and unwavering love and loyalty for his family, along with his animated story telling. His presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

A very special thank you to Mary Faith Sterk and the staff at the Delaney in Georgetown Texas for the endearing care, compassion and guidance during the past few years.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in George's memory to the Dementia Society of America at Donate | Dementia Society of America®
