George Michael Atcher 1953-2024
George Michael (Mike) Atcher, 71, of Lexington, Kentucky, died at home on October 9, 2024.
Mike was a lifelong resident of Lexington, born to Martin E. Atcher and Gertrude T. Atcher on July 18, 1953. He was a graduate of Tates Creek Senior High School. For most of his career, he was in the printing business, eventually owning his own company, Mike's Print Shop, until his retirement.
He was never happier than watching his Wildcats play, fishing for bass on a pond or lake, raising a summer garden, and spending time with his wife and family.
Mike is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charles D. Atcher. He is survived by his wife, Paula Atcher, daughter Jana Walters (Ryan) and his grandchildren Maylee Jo and Laurel Brooke; daughter Christen Pass and her family; and sister Brenda Whitlock; and stepmother Edith Atcher.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 2-4 PM at Care Cremation & Funeral Service, 1304 Bryan Avenue, Lexington, Kentucky 40505. Friends and loved ones are encouraged and welcomed to share their memories throughout the visitation.

So sorry to hear this. Condolences to the family. It was great to reconnect with Mike at BSHS when our daughters were in the band and to have his daughter in my class.
