George Bines, III Obituary
George Franklin Bines, III, 82 years, of Elkton, MD, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025 in the ChristianaCare Christiana Hospital of Newark, DE. Born September 15, 1943 in Perryville, MD, he was the son of the late George Franklin, Jr., and Ella Gertrude Weaver Bines.
Frank was formerly employed as an office engineer by the Edwards & Kelcey Company of New Jersey. He was a member of the Lafayette Lodge No. 27 of Rahway, NJ.
Frank is survived by his son, Michael Kevin Bines and wife, Amy Marie; granddaughter, Josaphine Rosa Basile; grandsons, Joseph Grzan and Anthony Grzan; brother, Richard Ernest Bines and wife, Patti; nephews, Rick Bines and wife, Sheila, and Scott Bines; and niece, Darla Carter and husband, Robert.
In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Nona Mae Bines, and sons, George Franklin Bines IV and Richard Allen Bines.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, December 10, 2025, 1 PM, at the Lee A. Patterson & Son Funeral Home, P.A., of Perryville, MD. Visitation for family and friends will be held Wednesday, December 10, 2025, 11 AM until 1 PM, at the funeral home prior to the funeral service. Pastor Larry Johnson of the New Life Faith Center of Port Deposit, MD, will officiate. Interment will be in St. Mark’s Cemetery, Perryville, MD.
