It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of George Charles Buckhold, Jr., who died peacefully on August 5, 2025, at the age of 68 in Saint Augustine, Florida.
George leaves behind a legacy of love through his children: son George R. Buckhold (married to Kari Ann) and daughter Anna C. Buttenschon (married to Korey). He was a treasured grandfather to George E. Buckhold and Sam Ballas and served as a beloved uncle and great-uncle to numerous nieces and nephews.
Born on September 21, 1956, in Cleveland, Ohio, George was the cherished son of the late George C. and Elizabeth A. (Wenski) Buckhold, Sr.
He is survived by Michele Sanchez, the mother of his children and former spouse, as well as former spouse Iris B. Nazco and stepson Thomas Valls. George is also mourned by his loving sisters: Patricia M. Buckhold and Mary E. Fuizzotti (married to Peter).
George's memory will be cherished by all who knew and loved him, and his legacy will live on through the many lives he touched throughout his 68 years.
