It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Wendell Burchfield, 55, of Bacliff TX on October 24, 2025.

Born on October 23, 1970 in Alexandria Louisiana.

A proud graduate of Dickinson High School. Wendell went on to serve in a four-year Department of Labor approved Machinist Apprenticeship at A&A machine. He continued his trades profession at the BP Refinery and Chemical plant in Texas City, Texas. Lastly, operating his self -starter company, Bacliff Prototype Machine Works.

Known best for his quick wit, sarcastic humor, activism, love of vintage cars and most importantly, doing things his way!

RIP Wendell, deeply missed and never forgotten!

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Larry and Lorraine Burchfield, brothers Mike Sealy and Kennis Johnson.

Wendell is survived by immediate family his brother, Larry "Nugget" Burchfield and sister, Amey Baeza.

Special mention of love to his niece, Lauren Burchfield and brother's, partner Katie Driskill for their unwavering love and support of Wendell's care in his challenging time.

Details for a celebration of life will be communicated at a later time.
