George Conley Obituary

Mr. Conley was born in Ft. Eustis, VA. He grew up in Maple Shade, NJ and resided there until moving to Medford in 1985. George was a graduate of Widener University Law School, spent summers studying Law in Florence, Italy and was passionate in furthering his education. While he worked as an attorney, he also enjoyed learning other languages, researching various topics, genealogy and reading. In his leisure, he enjoyed traveling around Europe, weekend trips with his wife, or just sitting by a lake looking for turtles. Above all, he cherished the time spent with family and friends, and will be deeply missed by those he leaves behind.
George is survived by his beloved spouse, Elizabeth Conley (nee Cameron); daughter, Shannon Conley; son, Gregory Conley; sister, Karen Martin; brother, James Conley; mother-in-law, Helen Cameron; and many nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 25th from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM immediately followed by mass of Christian burial, both at St. Mary of the Lakes RC Church, 40 Jackson Road, Medford, NJ. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Mount Holly, NJ. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in George's name may be made to the Prostate Cancer Foundation at https://zerocancer.org/.

To one of my best friend George was a great friend and lawyer we hung out at shuk s and Margaret s George was very professional in everything he did his best was at the high school dance s doing imatation of billy honer singing Sally saying something rest in peace my friend until we meet again.

I am so sorry for your loss. I went to school with George and graduated Merchantville HS with him. He was so well versed in everything, so quick with his wit and could always make you smile. He will truly be missed. One special man. May he rest in peace. Condolences to his family
