George "Potty" Davis entered into eternal rest after a courageous battle with renal failure at his home. A lifelong resident of New Orleans, Louisiana. He is preceded in death by his parents, George Lewis Jr and Althea Davis, and one brother Lawrence Davis. He is survived by three sisters and one brother, Sonya (Enal) Clay-Desmangles of Antioch, California, Nicole Clay-Russell of Homestead, Florida and Elnora Davis and Kenneth Davis of New Orleans, Louisiana. He leaves to mourn his passing 21 nieces and nephews and 34 great nieces and nephews. An adopted father in love Herman Roberts and a host of family members and friends. Funeral Services will be held Saturday October 11, 2025 at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 1126 North Robertson Street, New Orleans, LA 70116. Visitation 9:00 am - 10:00 am, Service 10:00 am. Burial Holt Cemetary 527 City Park Ave, New Orleans, LA 70119.
