I grew up with George and his cousin, Greg Boone. The sweetest guys in the world. We attended First Methodist Church from the time we were born. We loved kidding each other with Duke unc Rivalry. Rest in peace sweet George.

What a loss for all who were able to know George. I had the honor of getting to know him during his time at Hooker Furniture and there wasn't a kinder or gentler soul. Please accept my condolences.

What a kind man George was. I had the good fortune of working with him at Hooker Furniture. He was the epitome of a professional sales representative. Hard worker, honest, dependable and always there for his customers. A loving husband, father, brother and friend to many. My condolences to his family.

My condolences to all of George's family for a life taken far too early. I knew George through mutual friends and his wife's art. I always enjoyed running into him at Myers Park Teeter. May you be comforted by your faith and friends during this challenging and sad time.

George was such a delight being one of my son´s best friends in High School and even today. Always so polite, mannerly and I loved seeing him. I am so sorry for all the family and will keep all of you in my prayers in the days to come. Linda Trogdon, Andy Smith´s Mom.
