George Bruce Eastin 1946-2025
George Bruce Eastin, 79, of Maryville, TN passed away on April 29, 2025. George was a retired microbiologist at East Tennessee Children's Hospital for over 20 years. George enjoyed traveling with his wife Karen and working in his garden and various house projects. When not working around the house or traveling, George could be found on his fishing boat with his best friends or spending time with his 8 grandchildren. George will always be remembered by his wise words, piano playing, and unconditional love. George was greatly loved by his many friends of Bill W.George was preceded in death by his parents William and Lena Eastin, siblings John Dudley Eastin, Warda West, Phyllis Clendaniel, and Dorthy West; and his son Gregory Eastin. He is survived by his wife Karen Eastin, children Jason Eastin (Tracy), Randall Eastin (Dana), Stephanie Pesterfield (Brad), and Jamie Bradshaw (Michael); grandchildren Ava Eastin, Kaitlyn Eastin, Elise Bell, Braxton and Norah Ann Pesterfield, and Zachary, Steven, and Hannah Bradshaw. Family will receive friends on Sunday May 4th from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Grandview Pavillion and a celebration of George’s life will follow at 2:00 PM with Reverend Gilbert Harris officiating.
