George Howard Grimshaw passed from this life on November 15, 2022 with his family by his side. He had been diagnosed with melanoma earlier in the year and though the surgery was successful, complications arose a few months ago and he succumbed to them. George worked at NASA at Edwards AFB from 1984 until his retirement in 2013. He enjoyed working with the NASA team no matter what project he was assigned to. He pastored and taught in several Baptist churches in the Antelope Valley and California City area. His Bible knowledge, humble spirit and friendliness will be sorely missed. He is survived by his wife, Theresa Grimshaw, sons George E Grimshaw, David Grimshaw and Bryan Guarino and his mother Patricia Grimshaw and his brother Larry Grimshaw. He was predeceased by his father, George N. Grimshaw and his brother Rodney Grimshaw. Also, to mourn his death are many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and in-laws. We look forward to seeing him again along with our Savior, Jesus Christ. A memorial services will be held at Victory Baptist Church, 10173 South Loop, California City on December 3rd at 11am. In lieu of flowers please send a check to the church and earmark it for Kids to Camp.
