George Franklin Harsh

Williamsport, MD – George Franklin Harsh, 89, of Williamsport, MD passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025, at his home.
He was born on April 20, 1936, in Williamsport, MD to the late George Luther and Violet Elaine (Jessop) Harsh.
George was a 1954 graduate of Williamsport High School.
He was employed by Mack Trucks, Inc. in Hagerstown, MD until his retirement. He also worked on the family farm.
He was of the Methodist Faith.
George was a past member and Chief of the Williamsport Ambulance Service; past member of Williamsport Vol. Fire Co.; and past member of CRS in Hagerstown, MD.
George enjoyed crabbing, fishing, mowing his grass, and woodworking.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Lou (Milburn) Harsh whom he married on October 3, 1986; daughters Anne M. Daniels (Phil) and Debbie K. Blair; sisters Rose M. Brais, Elva E. Goss, Ruth A. Mirra, and Erma S. Taylor; brothers Robert E. Harsh and Roy L. Harsh; 6 grandchildren; many great grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two sister Edna J. Mullenix and Ruby L. Waugh.
Services and burial will be private.
