George Warren Herrle Jr.

George Warren Herrle, Jr., a resident of St. Charles Parish, went to be with the Lord on July 30, 2024 after one last game of golf. He was 71 years old. He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years Sallie Herrle; Children: Rachael Anne Herrle Compton (Eddie) and George Michael Herrle; Grandson Emile Fabacher; Sister Laurie Herrle Dragna (Greg) and Judy Herrle. Preceded in death by his parents George Warren Herrle, Sr. and Marietta Nick Herrle.
George graduated from West Jefferson High School and attended UNO. He was a Real Estate Broker and a Residential Contractor. He was an avid golfer and a long-time member of Grand Ridge Country Club in Luling. He played two tournaments with John Daly. He dearly loved watching LSU & the Saints games with his grandson Emile. He was "Big Daddy" to Emile.
George loved his Lord, his family, and his friends. He had lunch once a month with his high school buddies. George had a great sense of humor and wit and will be missed by so many.
Family and friends are invited to attend the Service at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA. 70001, on Wednesday, August 8, 2024. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM with a Service at 12:00 PM.
