George F. Holbach, age 92, of Adell, WI, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2024 at Aurora Sheboygan Medical Center.
He was born on May 23, 1932 in Milwaukee, WI, a son of the late George J. and Christine (Zarske) Holbach.
He graduated from Marquette University, where he earned his degree in Zoology.
On June 13, 1960, he married Ann Mae Stroik. She preceded him in death in 1991.
George worked as a social worker in Milwaukee for 12 years and at Valhalla Leather in Sheboygan.
George loved learning and would travel all around the world to collect different insects and butterflies. His land and home were his pride and joy.
Survivors include his children, Georgine Holbach and John (Kathyrn) Holbach; daughter-in-law, Christine; grandchildren, Heath, Shawn, Kyle, Joey, Harley, Robert, Christopher, Kariana, Michael, and Matt; 10 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Richard Holbach; daughter, Julie Robles; and brother, Fred Holbach.
A celebration of life for George will be held on Thursday (October 3, 2024) at Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth, visitation will be from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in George's name.
