George Gary Howard

It is with a heavy heart, that we announce the passing of George Gary Howard, who peacefully departed this world on June 24, 2025 at the age of 61 in Grosse Pointe Park, MI. Born on July 28, 1963 in Detroit, MI, George was the beloved father of Brittany Howard-Reyes and Keaton Howard, and a cherished grandfather to Jonathan, Mia, and Jack Reyes.
George was known for his infectious sense of humor, his love of cooking, and his generous heart. He was a man of integrity, kindness, and generosity, always putting the needs of others before his own.
George spent most of his career at Jefferson North Assembly plant where he built several life long friendships. He was known throughout the neighborhood for his kindred spirit, and cared very much for the community around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
His legacy of love, laughter, and compassion will forever be etched in our hearts. George is survived by his daughter, Brittany, his son Keaton, and his sister Debbie. He is preceded in death by his father, Richard Howard, mother, Mary Howard, and sister, Mary Howard.
In lieu of a funeral, the family will be throwing George a Celebration of Life on August 7, 2025. More details to follow as they become available
