Frankfort – George E. Kyle, age 74, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on July 26, 2025. He was born November 12, 1950, to the late George A. Kyle and Anita Morrow Kyle. George loved his wife, children, and granddaughters very, very much. He loved working outside, especially driving his riding mower all through the fields and woods on the farm. George was a 1968 graduate of Franklin County High School and Kentucky State College. In his younger years, he loved to bowl on the men's league at the Bowl Away. He was a Veteran of the United States Army 1st Squadron, 302nd Cavalry, 3rd Brigade 100th division. He was retired from Kentucky State Government. After his retirement, he became a truck driver for U.S. Express where he traveled across the U.S. George was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Llew and Zack Kyle; sons, George Shelton and Nicholas George Kyle. He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Terry Kyle; daughter, Capella McFarland (Brian); son, Chase Kyle; granddaughters, Alyssa Karsner-McFarland, Bailey McFarland, and Kremsyn Kyle; brother, Gene Kyle and sister, Susan Decker (Leo). Private graveside services will be observed by the family. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to a charity of one's choice. Arrangements are under the direction of Harrod Brothers Funeral Home & Crematory.
