Mr. George Michael Prundl Montague, NJ
Mr. George Michael Prundl of Montague, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, August 29, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was 83 years old.
Born on October 4, 1941, in Budapest, Hungary, George was the beloved son of the late Antal and Amalia (Tuzson) Prundl. At the age of 16, George immigrated to the United States with his family, beginning a new chapter of life in a country he would come to love deeply.
A dedicated and passionate craftsman, George worked as a general contractor for over 65 years. He took immense pride in his work and in the company he built-Eagle Construction-named to reflect his deep pride in becoming an American citizen. George's work was not just a career; it was a calling that he pursued with skill and dedication throughout his life.
George was also an active member of the Hungarian-American community and served as a former president of the Hungarian American Citizen Club in Woodbridge, NJ, helping to preserve and celebrate his cultural heritage.
Above all, George was a man who lived life on his own terms. He was fiercely independent, deeply devoted to his family, and loved them with unwavering passion. His presence, strength, and love will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
He leaves behind a legacy of hard work, pride, and love that will endure in the hearts of those he touched.
