Obituary of George Joseph Rahn Jr.

George Joseph Rahn Jr, born in St. Paul MN on February 2nd, 1934 died on August 31st, 2025 in Woodbury, MN surrounded by loving family.

He is preceded in death by parents, George Joseph Rahn Sr. and Marion (Perrine) Rahn and brother, Richard Rahn.

He is survived by loving wife of 67 years, Eleanor "Midge" Rahn (Durdin), sisters, Gail Hollstadt, Rose Eftefield, and Mary Bruner, children, Laurie Iten, Julie Abrego, Shelly Rahn and Brian Rahn, 8 grandchildren, Daniel Abrego, Brittani RahndeVu, Vanessa Abrego, Jeremy Abrego, Joseph Iten, Linda Iten, Nicholas Rahn and Victoria Rahn, 11 great-grandchildren and many other loving family and friends.

He graduated from Cretin High School in 1951. He was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War. He then earned his diploma for Master Electrician certification and Heating and Refridgeration Engineer.

His hobbies included handball, volleyball, softball, bocce ball and darts. He won many trophies and awards. He loved to watch "Everybody Loves Raymond", "Seinfeld" and "Family Feud", with the weather on the 8's.

George and Eleanor "Midge" were married for 67 years, it was love at first sight when they met in 1957 and married in 1958.
