George Russo Obituary
Beloved son of George Russo, Jr. and the late Sophie Russo. Loving husband of Candace Russo. Devoted father of Georgiana Russo, Lauren Russo, Sophia Russo, and George Russo IV. Dear brother of Robert (Jill), Michael, Christine (Tim), Anthony (Anna), Frankie (Lisa) and Vincent (Maureen). Loving grandfather of 9 grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
George was born in Philadelphia, PA. He was a mummer who enjoyed cooking, dancing, and singing. Most of all, he loved and cherished his family and will be will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
There will be a viewing on Friday, January 30, 2026 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, 126 S. Black Horse Pike, Runnemede, NJ 08078.
Funeral Mass to begin at 12:00 noon at Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Agnes Church, 701 Little Gloucester Road, Blackwood, NJ 08012.
Interment to follow at SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 S. Sproul Road, Springfield, PA 19064.

George Russo was a good friend back in the the day at 5th and Porter. His family was close knit and his Mom was aces his dad a good friend growing up. They treated me like family.My prayers and condolences to your family. RIP my friend. Bobby Domard.
