My Uncle George was so special to me. I have so many wonderful memories. Some of my favorites were riding the train at the Milwaukee Zoo, taking the train to Chicago at Christmas to see the shop windows decorated for the holidays, going to Santa's Village, and spending time with him and Aunt Rita up north at the cottage. When we were up north, Uncle George liked to go out for ice cream after supper. It became a tradition and continued on with my boys . Every morning, up north at 8:00 Uncle George would call our cottage and say "this is the wake up call." How I will miss hearing his voice and spending time with him. I know that he has been reunited with his twin brother, my Uncle Jerry in heaven. I miss them both so very much but know that they are together again for eternity. What a reunion that must have been!

Our twin Uncle's George and Jerry were the best Uncles we could have ever had. Memories of the zoo(s) we visited often when we were small and the trips to Chicago during Thanksgiving to Christmas shop are such good memories! I'm sure my Brother Todd and Sister Christine will agree with me that our Uncles were amazing and are greatly missed. Uncle George always called me Yabba Dabba Do, which always made me feel special. Uncle Jerry has been gone for years now but, I remember his cream puffs that he made in the shape of a swan that were not only delicious but beautiful. I miss that. I'm happy that Uncle George is free from pain now and with his twin Jerry. I'm sure they are having a family reunion in Heaven! They will always be missed and fondly remembered. Love, Kathy
