George Shade Obituary
Born in Pottstown, he was the son of the late George, Sr. and Dorothy (Weller) Shade.
George was a longtime member of Gabelsville Athletic Association and local firehouses in the Boyertown area. He enjoyed playing slow pitch softball and going golfing. George was an avid fan of Penn State, the Flyers, and the Eagles. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving is his brother Mick Shade husband of the late Tina; sister Cheryl Winnick; nieces and nephews Matt, David husband of Brittany, Anna, Kimmy wife of Skyler, and Chelsea wife of LeeRoy; great nieces and nephews Chase, Trevor, Shane, John, Chloe, Miranda, LeeRoy, Jr., Reese, and River; and great great niece Janiyah.
Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Steve Shade.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

My sincere condolences to the Shade family. He was an outstanding human that I myself & many more people will definitely miss. He was a great guy to work with or just to hang out with. I'll miss shooting darts with you my friend. See you on the other side
