George Shish Obituary

He was born on May 11, 1955 to George and Gloria (Swanson) Shish in Kittanning, PA.
Gobel worked for Season-All and Thermoguard before starting his own construction business. He enjoyed fishing, camping, and cooking. Gobel loved Reese Peanut Butter Cups and collecting M&M memorabilia. His dog, Gabby, was his cherished friend.
Gobel is survived by his brother, Edward Shish of Indiana; sisters, Sandra (Alan) Stiteler of Shelocta and Sue Ann (George) Yeager of Plumville; nephews, Nick Shish and Brandon Stiteler; niece, Rachael (Stanley) Toy; and a great-nephew, Nickoli Shish.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gary "Bounce" Shish.
As per Gobel's wishes, funeral services will be private and have been entrusted to the Carson/Boyer Funeral Home, Inc. of Rural Valley.
