George Edward Sowards

George E Sowards has gone home to meet his heavenly father, on September 30th, 2023 at Ohio State University, in Columbus Ohio, from a sudden illness. George was born on April 27th, 1957 To his parents of Eugene and Ruth Sowards from Zanesville Ohio. He survived a daughter, Crystal Sowards and a son Justin Sowards. Along with his best friend Bear his Saint Bernard; his siblings Eugene Sowards, Deborah Denbow, Judith Brock and (Barney), Rick Sowards. He had many nieces and nephews; Lisa Denbow Guerrab and (Amine), Nicholas Denbow, Erin Denbow, Buddy Brock, Steven Brock, Jeffery Brock, Alan Huff, Bobbie Joe Snyder (Marshall ) Rick Sowards Jr. He preceded in death his daughter Suzanne Sowards Gross, his parents Eugene and Ruth Sowards, and his sister Linda Sowards Auragema. He never meet a stranger, he was much a people person. He was a great story teller. He loved to travel. He had many passions, he loved animals wild or domestic. He was a great contractor, building homes, remodeling kitchens was his favorite, building furniture. An hunting. Another passion he had was, researching our family history, the more he found out about our family history his passion grew to make sure our fore Father's had a tombstone. He always said with a headstone, people won't forget you. He was a country boy in heart. He retired as a Sargent in Florida's correction officer. We will be having a celebration of life for George in November at his final resting place Memorial Parkl Cemetery in Zanesville Ohio. We will post date and time.
