George A. St Cyr, 56, passed away unexpectedly on January 28, 2025, at his home in Penacook. George was the son of Linda (Labrie) and Stephen J St Cyr, born on July 14, 1968, in Laconia. George’s passing has left a void in the hearts of his family, friends, and many more whose lives he touched. His family hopes that people who knew George remember him not for the way his life ended, but for the way he touched their lives.
George grew up in Suncook and graduated from Pembroke Academy. He was employed almost 30 years for Lad Welding & Fabrication/Macy Industries in Concord, as a welder/fabricator. He was also employed for many years at Demoulas Market Basket in Concord.
George enjoyed fishing and hunting, collecting old coins, stamps, and bottles, having amassed quite a collection. George had a fondness for dogs and had several over his lifetime, naming many of them Duke after his childhood dog. He had a young-at-heart quality, a funny sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh.
George was preceded in death by his father, Stephen J St Cyr, brother Joey Gregoire, and sister Wendy Berube. His sister, Cindy Letendre, sadly passed four days after George.
Surviving George are his mother, Linda St Cyr of Loudon, Kathy Lemieux of Allenstown, sister Tracey Genest of Effingham, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
