Stinnett, George - Age 80, of Grand Blanc, died September 29, 2023 at his sister's residence after a long battle of cancer. Cremation has taken place and a private memorial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to The American Cancer Society. George was one of a kind, back in the day George loved to build Harley Davidson choppers and make custom built cars. Over the years he went on to open Colonial Collision in Grand Blanc because of his love of cars and the talent he had. He was the owner and builder of Kool Jerk, Pyscho, Darth Invader and Shadow pull trucks that he loved to run at shows when he could. George was one of the best body men around. He knew what he was doing and he always stayed busy working on cars. George took pleasure in helping anyone that he could because he cared about everyone. He will be sadly missed forever by everyone that knew him. Surviving are son, Craig (Yvonne) Stinnett of Mount Morris; daughter, Deidre (Mike) Medcoff of Swartz Creek; sister, Cindy (Mike) Slater of Grand Blanc; many many special friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Lois Stinnett; sister, Chiquita Richards. Tributes may be shared on the obituaries page of www.sharpfuneralhomes.com.
