Charles Stinnett Obituary
Charles Henry Stinnett, age 86, loving husband of Kate McLaughlin Stinnett, passed away on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. He was born in Jessamine County, Kentucky, on November 7, 1938, to the late Edward Stinnett and Rose Anna Preston Stinnett. Charles retired from St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky, and was a member of Sonlight Fellowship Church of God. Survivors include a daughter, Teresa Stinnett Moberly, and her husband, Jeff, two grandchildren, Kyle Moberly and his wife, Nicole, and Chris Moberly and his wife, Madison (and soon to be great-granddaughter Natalie Jo) and four great-grandchildren, Olivia, Ava, Thea, and Kati Moberly. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Randall Craig Stinnett, and a brother, Robert “Bobby” Stinnett. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and the funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at Betts & West Funeral Home with Brother Jay Webb officiating. Pallbearers are James Wilson, Tim Parson, Elmer Freels, Dale Horton, Michael Miller and Tony Brown.
