Oak Ridge Military Academy has about 100, 7-12 grade live in students. One day, years ago, I was watching a sporting event there when I spotted a familiar face in the bleachers. It was George! I can´t imagine the odds of seeing a classmate 1500 miles away from the Academy in a tiny school in a tiny town. He came to our house for dinner.
George didn´t say at Oak Ridge long. He went to Russia. Each year he would return to the states for a few weeks and during that time he would join us for dinner and/or a mini reunion with classmates who lived nearby.

George, I enjoyed singing with you at the New Horizon's Chorus. Thank you for your service to our country. Having met you and having read your obituary, it affirms that you enjoyed a life well lived. RIP
