On June 27, 1943, in Crockett, Texas a handsome prince was born to Douglas White and Pearlie B. White, whom they named George White. As a very young child, they moved to Onalaska, Texas, where he grew up and attended public school.
George began working at Harrison Body Shop in Livingston, Texas for many years. Later he opened his own business naming it George White and Sons Body Shop and Wrecker Service. His passion was his business and helping people. George was on of a kind, he had a heart of gold.
George was one of the first firefighter in Onalaska, Texas. He served the Fire Department and his community well until his demise. In 2016 he married the love of his life Linda Jackson White.
He was proceeded in death by his first wife, Dorothy Jean White; Father: Douglas White; Mother: Pearlie B. Thomas; Brother: James A. White; Grandson: Jerry White Jr.; Daughter in Law: Lisa White; Step Sister: Bertha Johnson; Step Daughter: Sonya Plattenburg.
He leaves to cherish his memories; Wife: Linda Jackson White; Sons: George White Jr (Ruby), Gary Ray White (Pam); Jerry Wayne White, Tracy Lee White. Step Sons: John Williams (Toni), Jerry Bogany Jr. Grandchildren: Gary Chase White, Cody White, LaTarion White, Nitosia White, Kiera White, Tracy White Jr, Ashley Lewis, Briana Henderson, Joshua Wyatt, Jarrod Wyatt. Ten Great Grandchildren; God Sister: Mattie J. Yarbrough. Mother in Law: Edna Benford; Sister in Laws: Katherine Henderson, Connie Johnson (Albert), Tonya Pits (Curtis), Renee Benford Johnson (Ricky). Special Friends: Roy Newport; Danny Christian, James Neil and Michael Johnson.
