I knew Calvin many years. I first met him when we both worked at Xerox. Then I went to HP and then Calvin came to HP. He was my manager for many years. We talked about family all the time. Always asked how my parents and grandparents were. I will miss him.

I´m deeply saddened to hear of Calvin´s passing. He was a kind, gentle, and decent friend. We were colleagues at Hewlett Packard. Calvin acted according to his strong values. He was a very private person, who spoke lovingly of his children and his grand-babies. After leaving HP, we met for lunch at the Cheesecake Factory. Little did I know his lunch would be lots of cheesecake. When my daughter was in middle school, he helped her with a project on slavery. She still remembers that conversation today. When my mom died, he insisted on driving me home. That´s who he was. Calvin you honored me being my colleague. But more importantly you honored me being my friend. Rest in peace my dear friend. I only wish there were more cheesecake lunches in our future. God bless you and your beautiful family. I´m gonna miss you in this world. With much love.

I worked with Calvin for many years at HP. He was a great worker, leader and most of all friend. We were on different coasts but he was always there for me. We spent many hours talking about family. He loved hosting dinners, going to the kids games and just sharing his Dad and Grandpa knowledge with the family. We kept in touch since we retired but it wasn´t enough. He was a great man and is going to be missed.

Calvin was a fine friend to me. We especially shared many sport memories. We worked together for a short period of time at Reynolds. He was always cheerful and gentle spoken. We would often meet or see eachother at a some Resurant in town and share a sutle greeting. I have only love and respect for this fine man. Due to another commitment on the 18th, I respectfully and sadly will not be able to attend his service. But, our prayers go out to all the family and friends. May God give you strength and comfort through the coming days.
