Georgetta M. Juneau

July 17, 1953 – August 15, 2025

Georgetta M. Juneau, affectionately known as Georgia, passed away at her home in Daytona Beach, FL, on August 15, 2025, following a brief battle with kidney cancer. She was 72 years old.

Born on July 17, 1953, in San Diego, CA, Georgia was the oldest daughter of Henry and Eva Fromme. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Burke Juneau, and her son, Francis L. Gordon-both of whom she held close in her heart.

Georgia is survived by her daughter, Josette Johnson, and son-in-law, Chris Johnson of Albuquerque, NM; her daughter-in-law, Tamara Pickhardt and treasured granddaughters, Zoe Gordon and Paige Pickhardt of Vero Beach, FL. She also leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will miss her deeply.

A proud and long-time supporter of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), Georgia was passionate about honoring those who served. A dedicated employee of O'Reilly Auto Parts, she built a close-knit work family and delighted in collecting M2 cars. She found joy in cooking and generously shared her favorite recipes with others, both in person and online.

Georgia expressed herself through poetry, embraced life with authenticity, and found peace by the ocean. Her vibrant spirit, generous heart, and love of sharing a drink, a story, or a laugh made her unforgettable to all who knew her.

She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.

A private memorial will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Georgia's honor to the VFW or a military organization of your choice.
