Georgette Laguerre Oriol was born in Cap-Haitien, Haiti to Stephen and Renee Laguerre. She was the second of five siblings. Georgette began her professional journey as a pharmacist in Haiti, where she cultivated a strong foundation in healthcare. Upon arrival to the United States, she embraced a new path in the business sector, quickly demonstrating her adaptability while discovering a deep passion for banking. She flourished, bringing insight and a commitment to excellence to every role she undertook. She was an extraordinary woman, loving and caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Georgette was a devoted and cherished member of St. Patrick Church. Her faith in God allowed her to live a beautiful life filled with love, joy and happiness. She is preceded in death by her husband Maurice, brothers Andre, Max, Roger, sister AnnMarie, son Errols, stepchildren Rico, Marco, Jacques, Gessy and Gladys. Georgette is survived by her children Myriam (Philippe), Astride, Gregory (Michael), Stepchildren Monique (Eric), Nelson, Kathy, and their descendants, sisters-in-law Mercie and Nanotte, and daughter in-law Deborah. Her grandchildren Sheronda (Omar), O'Donald 4th (Kaydawn) Olivia, Marcus (Tamara), Philippe (Su), Maurice, Erica and Matthew. Her great-grandchildren London, O'Donald 5h, Allen, Azalea, Philippe 2d, Kyle, Cameron, Lauren, Alex and Antoine. Niece Martyne, nephews Patrick, Carl, Edwidge and their descendants and goddaughter Chantal.
