Georgia Lou ( Mick) Garlitz was born in Wellsville Ohio on February 1, 1948. She was the daughter of Ernest Carl Mick and Georgia Mabel (Russell) Mick. Georgia was youngest and the only the girl being surrounded by brothers Ernest Mick Jr, Carl , Paul , Lester and Timothy Mick.
Georgia married Donald Lee Garlitz on June 17,1997 at the First Christian Church in Winchster, Virginia,honeymooning in Nashville, Tennessee. Together they created a beautiful home and shared many wonderful memories.
Georgia retired from Kline's Restaurant where she worked as a cook and a baker. She was best known for her cakes. She also loved to make crafts and decorate.
Georgia passed away at the Healthcare Center in Cumberland, Maryland on July 9, 2025 after a brief stay.
She is survived by one brother and a sister-in-law, of whom she spoke of fondly. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Georgia is now reunited with her husband and beloved dog, Maggie. We love you Aunt Georgia.
She was cremated in accordance with her wishes.
