She was born in Steubenville on September 8, 1940, the daughter of George Robert and Mary Louis Scott Manypenny.
Georgia was a graduate of New Cumberland High School and spent her entire career as a legal secretary working in Los Angeles until her retirement in 2000 when she returned to New Cumberland to be near her family and friends.
She enjoyed talking about politics, taking care of her cats, and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Georgia was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved sister Virginia Manypenny in 1991.
Surviving to cherish her memory is her nephew, David E. Hartnett, his wife Kelly and their sons Colin and Connor of Illinois, her cousins Emajo Kimball, Belenda Gill, Blaine Kimball, Lee Alleman all of New Cumberland, WV, and Connie Hissom of East Liverpool, OH.
Georgia's request for cremation has been honored.
There are no services planned at this time.
