Geovanus Mello “Geo” Kerr, 3, of Normal, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at Carle BroMenn Medical Center in Normal. There are no services scheduled at this time.

Geo was born at OSF Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria on January 14, 2020 to Damonte Kerr and Siara Brown.

He is survived by his loving parents, Damonte Kerr and Siara Brown; grandparents, Tiffany Harris and Tawnya Brown; great grandparents, Kelly and Troy Semple, Denise and Freddie Wilson, Majorie and Jerry Brown, and Larry and Lisa Neal; aunts and uncles, Dimari Williamson, Daija Kerr, Teresa Brown, Michael Brown, and Hunter Brown. He is also survived by many cousins.

Geo loved his piano and to dance to the music. He loved dinosaurs, school, and learning new things. Geo adored his parents. He would fight sleep so he could sit with dad and play video games and he loved when mom would play and brush his hair.

Geo was an amazing child who brought so much love and happiness. We were blessed to call him ours.

Gone but never forgotten and forever in our hearts.

My heart breaks for you.
I have no words that will bring comfort. What I can say is that Geo knows ya'll love him. I have never seen anyone fight so hard for her child as you did Siara. God bless you all.

Damonte & Siara,
I was so sad to just read this about your beautiful little boy. I am quite sure you received so much joy from him. I messaged Kelly once some time ago and she told me all about your special little guy. She told me you were such wonderful parents. I was so happy to hear that Damonte.
Life for you will be different now, but you surely have so many special memories of your little boy.Hold all those memories close to your heart always
Hugs, Mrs. Friedrich

I loved working with Geo at Almost Home KIds! Not sure he "loved" PT but he did like to dance and move so he tolerated me I guess. He always made me smile and warmed my heart. He will be missed. Hugs to his family!
