Gerald Cady

Gerald Cady, 76, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday January 31, 2024. He was predeceased by his daughter, Christine Cady Sobiech; his brother, Floyd (Zip) Cady, Jr., his sister, Gypsy Cady; his sister-in-law, Ruth Cady. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Carol (Nejeschleba) Cady; his son, Gerald Cady, II; his daughter, Jennifer Scott (Wayne); four granddaughters, Alexis, Emily, Breanna, and Nikole Scott; three brothers, Michael Cady (Judy), Nelson Cady, Stephen Cady; also, several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was a retired Broome County Sheriff's Deputy and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He was an avid car buff and loved most sports, especially the NY Yankees and NY Giants.
