Gerald Arthur Case, Jr. 79. passed away peacefully on November 14th, 2025. Born in Elmira, NY he lived a life marked by dedication, hard work and a deep love for his family and the outdoors.

Proudly serving his country in the Marine Corps, he attained the rank of Sergeant and served two tours in Vietnam. Honor, service and resilience are values he carried throughout his life.

As a master craftsman, with skilled hands and a keen mind, he was an outstanding machinist and welder. His ability to fabricate and fix almost anything earned him the admiration of those around him.

Gerry's solace and joy was found in the embrace of nature. He cherished memories of camping and the peace of spending time outdoors with his wife, Barbara.

He leaves behind: His loving wife, Barbara; children, Curtis (Yulia) and Danielle; grandchildren, Tristan and Cara; and sister Elizabeth.

Gerry was not one for grand gestures, but his quiet strength, deep love and unwavering character made him a pillar for his family and a cherished friend to many.

A private memorial service will be held with immediate family. In lieu of a public service the family suggests donations to Toys for Tots.
