He was born on May 30, 1939 in Philadelphia and was the son of the late Gerald William and Olga Ann (Ferguson) Chreiman, Sr.
Jerry was a 1956 graduate of John Bartram High School in Philadelphia and served as a corporal in the United States Army. He was employed for 42 years as a systems installer for ADT Security.
Surviving are his loving son, Gerald W. Chreiman III and daughter-in-law, Kristen of Newtown Square, PA; three beautiful grandchildren, Michael, Brian and Emily; his brother Ralph of Mashpee, MA; his sister Linda of Wayne, PA; and his Goddaughter, Evan Leigh Boguszewski of Philadelphia, PA, as well as many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Barbara (Renner) Chreiman (May, 2024) and a beloved son, Robert (September, 2016).
Friends are invited to attend his viewing from 10-11 AM, Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at Cavanagh Family Funeral Home, 301 Chester Pike, Norwood, where a service will be held at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Edgewood Memorial Park, Glen Mills, with full military honors accorded.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions, if desired, may be made to Friends of Fair Acres Geriatric Center (https://www.fairacres.org/friends)
