Gerald J. Conley
Age 73, of Monee, IL passed away at Franciscan Health in Crown Point, IN. Jerry was born in Chicago, IL to the late John F. and Lorraine A. (nee Ross) Conley. Beloved husband of the late Diana (nee Stern) Conley; loving father of Nicole (Brad) DeGrave; cherished grandfather of Sophia, Caleb, and Camden DeGrave; dear brother of Carol Anne (late John) Hryn, John "Jack" (Judy) Conley, his twin Jean (Dave) Harroun, Mary (John) Bauer, and Kathy (Rich) Kremsner; brother-in-law of Danny Guess, Don ( Cindi) Guess, and Daryl Guess; loved uncle of John Hryn, Brian (Deana) Hryn, Lori (Glenn) Mingay, Jackie (Shannon) Conley, Jenny (Daniel) Goldfadden, Stacey (Tom) Glorioso, David (Janell) Harroun, Julie (Dave) Buckley, Joe Bauer, Rachel (Drew) Schultz, Mark (Janie) Kremsner, Cory Guess, and Kourtney Guess, and great-uncle and friend of many. Jerry was a member of Teamsters Local 710. He worked as a professional truck driver, specializing in transporting cars, for 32 years retiring in 2008. Jerry had a passion for Formula One Car Racing. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends and will be missed by all who knew and loved him. The family will receive friends at Kurtz Memorial Chapel 102 E. Francis Rd. New Lenox, IL on Sunday, September 25, 2022, from 3pm – 8pm. Funeral Service will be on Monday, September 26, 2022, with prayers at the funeral home at 9:30am then to St. Mary Catholic Church, Mokena, IL for Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am.
