Gerald Harvey Obituary

Jerry was born to the late Jack and Rosetta Harvey on June 26, 1946, in Miami, FL. He graduated from Kenai High School in Alaska where he was State Wrestling Champ in 1965. Jerry married Linda, the love of his life, in 1967 and lived in Lakeland, Florida before relocating to Stuart in 1982. They later retired and resided in Lake Wales, Islamorada, and Palm City.
Jerry was owner and president of his underground utilities company, UCMI, until 2007. He was a true outdoorsman and loved golfing, hunting and fishing. He loved his family and if he didn't have a fishing pole in hand, you could find him at his grandsons' sporting events supporting them in anyway he could.
Jerry was preceded in death by his brother, Fred and sister, Sandy King.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Linda, his son, Jerry Jr, (Hellen), and grandsons, Jake and Jeret, all of Palm City and his sisters Deanna Thompson and Sharon Milford.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th from 11-12 at Forest Hill Funeral Home, with a funeral service at 12:00. Entombment will officiate after the service at 1:15. A Celebration of Life will be held at Banyan Golf Club in Palm City from 3-6pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made out to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Gerry and Linda were our neighbors in Islamorada and also in Palm City. We have known them for almost 40 yrs. Lots of great times were had. In recent years we have loved him stopping over on his golf cart or in one of his many different boats as he tried them all. We will miss you Gerry.
