Gerald Kral

Gerald (Jerry) P. Kral died peacefully October 8, 2025 at 84. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Karen Kral, and many siblings, friends and co-gardeners. After a 20+ year career as a science teacher at Hilton High School he retired to become a Master Gardener. He was also president of the Greater Rochester Perennial Society for about 20 years. His garden became known in the community as a Magical and Fanciful place of peace. He was happiest on his knees and digging in the dirt. To honor his memory, contributions in his name could be made to Greentopia or Cornell Cooperative Extension of Monroe County.
