Edward J. Kral

Edward (Ed) J. Kral, age 78, passed away peacefully August 27, 2025, in Elmhurst, IL. Born on June 1, 1947, in Chicago, IL to the late J. Edward and the late Lucille Kral.
Beloved Husband of Irene Kral (nee Klich) and loving father of Kimberly. Cherished brother to Tom (Sue) and Mary (Jim,) as well as many in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.
Ed served in the Navy Reserves and started his career as a truck driver, then later became an electrician. In his spare time, Ed enjoyed being with his family and friends, enjoying hunting, fishing, boating, and motorcycling. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time at their river home, floating down the river on their party boat. Overall, his warmth, generosity, and great sense of humor – always a jokester – will surely be missed by all of us.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 13, 2025 from 1 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. at Pedersen Ryberg Funeral Home, 435 N. York Street, Elmhurst, IL, followed by a memorial service beginning at 3:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
