Gerald Wayne Meadows, 77, of Stanton, husband of Ruth Baker Meadows, passed away Wednesday, October 1, 2025 surrounded by his family. He was born August 18, 1948 in Stanton to the late Caney and Inez Bellamy Meadows. Survivors include, wife of almost 56 years, Ruth Meadows; son, Tim (Rosie) Meadows; daughter, Becky (Mitchell) Parker; brother, Jerry (Eva) Meadows; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Meadows and Donna Meadows; grandchildren, Jordyn (William) Deaton, Kennedy Begley, Kirsten Cornett, Deona Meadows, Madison Meadows, and Ayden Meadows; great-grandchildren, Julian Deaton, Autumn Deaton, Summer, Deaton, Corbin Deaton, Kigh Begley, Kami Crawford, Leon Crawford, and Gabe Crawford; adopted grandchildren, Aliesha Smith and Victoria Brown. Gerald was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Garry Meadows, Randy Meadows, and James Vinson Meadows; and sister, Janice Reddix. Services Saturday, October 4, 11:00AM Wells Funeral Home by Bro. Raymond Tipton and Dustin Meadows. Visitation Friday 6-9pm at the funeral home. Burial in Mt. Chapel Cemetery with Gene Meadows, Dwayne Ropp, Adam Brown, Derrick Meadows, Kevin Meadows, Jay Townsend, and Steven Smith. Honorary pallbearers serving, Erick Williams, Shelby Rogers, Jim Kirk, Lenville Belamy, Jerry Wells, Dallas Watkins, members of the Morris Creek First Church of God, Troy Brooks and the staff at Sterling Health Care, Hospice East Staff, Dr. Ari and the staff at Baptist Health, University of Kentucky Hospital staff, and host of nieces and nephews.
