MORTON, Gerald R. "Jerry" – of Clio, age 67, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025, at his residence. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
Jerry was born October 9, 1958, in Flint, Michigan, to the late Gerald and Helen (Daly) Morton. Jerry graduated from Clio High School with the Class of 1977, and pursued further education at Mott Community College. He devoted many years to working as a return clerk at Auto Value in the automotive industry, where he was known not only for his work ethic but also for his great sense of humor that uplifted those around him. On July 24, 2000, Jerry married the love of his life, Denise Kelly. Together they created a loving home, where they built a life filled with laughter and warmth. Jerry embraced his role as a husband, dad, and grandpa with a big heart, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew him. He was passionate about the outdoors, finding joy in fishing, hunting, and duck hunting, and cherished moments spent with his beloved pets, particularly little Charlie. His mischievous spirit and infectious laughter will forever be remembered. He will be deeply missed.
Surviving are: Loving wife of 25 years, Denise Morton; Children: Allen (Stacy) Bohn and Jamie (Bob) Bruce; Grandchildren: Caden Bohn (Hailey), Robert Bruce (Olivia) and Sophia Bruce; Great grand baby, Leslee: Several cousins. Good friends: Owen Zenker, Wayne Lafave and Matt Palmer. He is preceded in passing by his grandma, Bertha Daly; Aunts: Lillian Daly and Bird Keys
