Gerald (Jerry) Jamieson Moss,
Born, Indianapolis, IN, February 13, 1944.
Died, Edwardsville, IL, February 10, 2025.
Born to Dr. And Mrs. MJ Moss of Muncie, IN, Jerry was a 1962 graduate of Burris Laboratory School in Muncie, and a 1967 graduate of Ol’ Miss. Upon his graduation from college, he married his wife of 57 years, Connie. Jerry went on to found his own small communications company, Moss Specialties, which served Indianapolis and the surrounding region for nearly three decades. Throughout his life, Jerry also continued to nurture his deep love of the game of golf, even compiling his best tips and tricks in a self-published book he called, “From the Ground Up.” Jerry will be remembered for his kindness and his uncanny ability to make anyone feel as if they’d been friends for years. He died peacefully in his bed, surrounded by the prayers of believers from across the country.
Jerry is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter, their spouses, and six amazing grandsons.
A graveside service will be held June 6th at 10:00 am at Memorial Park Cemetary, 9350 E. Washington St., Indianapolis.
