Gerald “Jerry” James Mueller passed away peacefully in his sleep in the morning hours of December 15, 2025 after a long battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia.
Jerry was born February 27th 1939 in Milwaukee, WI to Reinhard and Ella (Vandertie) Mueller. He grew up in the Milwaukee area and graduated from Pius XI Catholic High School.
Jerry married Joan Hudy on August 22 1959 in Milwaukee. They lived in Wauwatosa for many years raising a son, Mark, and a daughter, Suzette, there. In 2001 they moved to Elkhart Lake, WI and enjoyed living in a condo at the Osthoff Resort.
Jerry was always interested in learning and had a wide variety jobs over the years. He was a Barber, Hearing Aid Salesman, Real Estate Agent and owner and founder of Executive Maids cleaning service.
Jerry enjoyed traveling and spending time with friends and family. He gained several friendships through his greatest hobby of golfing. He was a long-time member of Quit Qui Oc golf course in Elkhart Lake, WI. He was happiest golfing when he could golf with his grandson, Beau. Some of the happiest memories were made together in Elkhart Lake- afternoons pontoon boating, crisp winter days at Schnee Days, and lasting holiday celebrations filled with love, laughter, and joy.
Jerry truly loved his family and took great pride in being Father, Grandpa and Great-Grandpa.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Wife, Joan; Daughter & Son-in-Law, Suzette & David, and sister Sharon.
Jerry is survived by his Son, Mark. Granddaughter Erica (Andy) & their daughters, Kennadi & Lindley; Beau (Alyssa) & their sons, Aiden & Wesley; Significant other Mavis; sister in laws and several nieces and nephews.
Jerry’s optimism and zest for life will be greatly missed. He was indeed a friend to many, many people.
Family would like to extend their gratitude to the Vince Lombardi Cancer Center for their compassion and kindness.
