Grandpa,
I just want you to know that I love you and I will miss you so much. I remember when I was a kid and came over to stay the night with you. You would always say "what are you doing here?" It always brought a smile to my face when I got older and you would say that to my kids. You were so important to me and I'm going to really miss you. I love you so much and my heart is broken that your gone. It's going to be hard not seeing you in your garage watching the travel channel. Thank you for being such a kind loving grandfather. Until I see you again...

I'm so glad Loren and I got to spend some time with your dad. Enjoyed every time he'd visit so we could sit on the patio and hear all of his stories. Never doubt the love he had for you. As I told Bruce, we take comfort in knowing he's in God's hands.

Dear Dad,
I never knew my heart could ache so much like it felt the morning I got the call. I'm going to miss hearing you say "hello kiddo" every time we talked on the phone. I'm gong to miss the hugs that only a father can give a daughter. I'm going to miss your infectious smile and the way you would tell a story in the way only you could -- peppered with colorful language that always made me and Bruce laugh so hard. I'll miss your twice yearly visits to our home when I would wake up in the morning to find you sitting on the patio having coffee or just walking in the yard enjoying what nature had to offer that particular day. I'll miss watching football this fall with you and Bruce. We'll be rooting for your Cardinals along with our Gators. I'll never forget watching your game with you just days before you went to heaven, and how you let me and Bruce feed you that piece of chocolate cream pie. Most of all I hope I made you proud, dad. Bruce always has said after seeing me and you together, that the apple didn't fall far from the tree--and to know that I am like you in so many ways gives me great comfort -- I know I got some of the quirky parts of you for sure, but I know I have some of the best of you in me too. Thank you for being my dad, for loving me, guiding me and making the person I am today in so many ways. I now have peace knowing you are in heaven with Granny, Grandpa and Donna. I love you dad with all of my heart. I'll never stop missing you. Rest in Peace in God's Arms.
Love,
Marge
